Our residential property team specialises in investment properties and clients buying from overseas. We have in particular focused on new build developments which have been actively marketed in various locations around the world, such as Hong Kong (where we are currently opening an office), Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, Bangkok and Dubai.

We have more than 35 years’ experience in acting for individual investors, banks and UK property companies and for the past 20 years a significant part of our residential work has come from overseas sales exhibitions of new build developments. At the same time we advise clients who buy high value property in very established areas of London.

We have developed in-depth knowledge working with property purchasers, investors and lenders both in the UK and also internationally, with a specific focus on Asia Pacific and MENA.

We put much emphasis on ensuring we understand the different priorities and concerns clients may have in different parts of the world – including the need to advise on the ever changing tax regulations affecting overseas investors in residential property. We have cultivated excellent professional relationships with other law firms, accountants and sales agents in these important market places and our clients value this network of important professional relationships which enables us to offer an excellent service and value for money.

We are proud to say that we have a Team of 6 Lawyers (3 Solicitors and 3 Parale-gals) permanently based in Hong Kong and will announce the opening of our Hong Kong office in the coming months. This has proved an exciting step for the firm to further enhance our service to our local clients there, as well as the Asia Pacific region generally.
